Bee is a licensed mortgage broker that seeks to improve the homeownership wealth gap by simplifying the mortgage process, enhancing financial knowledge and making smarter underwriting decisions. Let us start by telling you why we need to collect your personal information, what we collect, how we use it, why we share it, who we share it with, how you’re in control of it and, last but not least, how to reach us. 

By using our app or website (the “App”) you are agreeing to this privacy policy. Our App is intended to be used by U.S. residents.  


Our primary reasons for collecting personal information are to provide the services you came to the App for and to ensure our services are top of the line and helping us achieve our mission.


From anyone who visits our App:

  1. IP address;
  2. Operating system;
  3. Browser type and version number; 
  4. Web pages or screens viewed; and
  5. “cookies,” and “pixel tags,” which are small data files containing information about your use of the App.

From anyone who creates an account on the App:

  1. Name(s) and alias(es);
  2. Social Security number;
  3. Address;
  4. Telephone number;
  5. Passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number;
  6. Insurance policy number;
  7. Education;
  8. Employment;
  9. Employment history;
  10. Bank account number;
  11. Credit card number; 
  12. Debit card number;  
  13. Other financial information;
  14. The location of your property;
  15. Your property's value;
  16. Age; 
  17. Race;
  18. Color;
  19. National origin;
  20. Citizenship; 
  21. Marital status;
  22. Sex (including gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy or childbirth and related medical conditions); and
  23. Veteran or military status.

We obtain this information from you or consumer data resellers. If you don’t complete your application, we may not collect all of this information. 


We use your personal information in a lawful and fair manner. Some specific ways in which we might use your data include to:

  1. Provide services you came to the App for;
  2. Obtain a credit report;
  3. Help lenders consider extending and actually extend credit to you; 
  4. Prepopulate info when applicable;
  5. Conduct quality control reviews or audits
  6. Detect Fraud;
  7. Debug the App;
  8. Conduct internal research; and to
  9. Market our products to you (unless you choose to opt out by emailing us at


We may need to share your personal information in order to:

  1. Provide services you came to the App for;
  2. Help lenders consider extending and actually extend credit to you;
  3. Detect fraud;
  4. Conduct quality control reviews and audits;
  5. Debug the App;
  6. Conduct internal research; and
  7. Fulfill other business purposes. 

We may also have to share your personal information in connection with:

  1. a sale, merger, transfer, exchange, or other disposition of all or a portion of our business; or
  2. a legal process, such as a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or law enforcement request.


We may need to share your personal information with our network of lenders, which includes:

  1. AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation - NMLS ID #1168;
  2. Home Point Financial Corporation - NMLS #7706

Each of those lenders has their own privacy policy that also complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Gramm Leach Bliley Act. By using our App, you agree to the privacy policies of any of these lenders with whom we share your personal information. 

We may also share your personal information with (1) our service providers, including but not limited to credit reporting agencies, (2) a potential acquirer of all or a portion of our business or (3) a court, party to a court proceeding or law enforcement. We do not sell your personal information.


Each year, we will respond to up to two verifiable consumer requests for:

  1. the categories of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months;
  2. The categories of sources from which we have collected personal information about you in the past 12 months;
  3. Our business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information in the past 12 months;
  4. Our business or commercial purpose for disclosing the category of personal information about you in the past 12 months;
  5. The specific pieces of personal information we have about you; and
  6. If we disclosed your personal information for a business or commercial purpose in the past 12 months:
  1. The categories of personal information that we disclosed about you for that purpose; 
  2. The categories of third parties to whom your personal information was disclosed;
  3. and which category of personal information was disclosed to that category of third party.

If you ask us to, we will also provide this information for all members of your household that we can verify.

We will never disclose your personal information, account password or security questions in connection with a verifiable consumer request.

You can also request that we delete any personal information that we have collected from you or maintained about you. Unless we are required or permitted by applicable laws to retain such information, we will comply with your request upon receipt of your verifiable consumer request. If we deny your request for deletion, we will let you know why.

You can submit your verifiable consumer request for information about or deletion of personal information collected by contacting us at Please note you may have to share some personal information in order for us to verify your identity. If we are unable to verify your identity we will let you know why.

Our goal is to verify and respond to your request as soon as possible, within forty-five days of your verifiable consumer request, unless we provide you a notice of needing additional time, up to ninety days, that includes the reasons for the extension.

We will not charge you to verify or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

If you’d like to allow an agent to submit a request to opt-out on your behalf, you must give them written authorization and verify your identity directly with us. 

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under applicable laws. For example, we will never:

  1. Deny you goods or services; 
  2. Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties; 
  3. Provide you with a different level or quality of goods or services; or 
  4. Suggest that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

From time to time, we may need to change this privacy policy without notice to you other than to amend the version provided on our App. Please check the App regularly to review the current version of the policy and any changes that may have been made to it. The provisions contained herein supersede all previous notices or statements regarding our privacy practices.
